Your new role
Their Belfast office is looking for a Software Developer with strong Java and/or C++ skills, and experience with Scripting languages and database programming. Their software analyzes massive amounts of Real Time market data in milliseconds. This is an opportunity to work in a team of financial engineers and computer and data scientists, applying cutting-edge technology, machine learning and mathematics to Real Time financial markets data and risk. You will Develop and implement new software applications to process and analyze financial market data. Maintain and optimize existing software applications and recommend improvements. Write documentation, technical specifications, project plans and sales material for their data and applications.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need experience in developing software applications. You must have strong knowledge of Java and/or C/C++, SQL, Linux, Shell Scripting with hands-on experience working with project schedules, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines on global, team-based projects. Interest in financial markets, analytics and data a must with an analytical and quantitative mindset, capable of translating concepts into actions.
