Senior Android Developer – London

Senior Android Developer | London | £65,000 – £80,000 |Remote Working (UK Based)

Android Developer | Mobile Developer | Kotlin | RxJava | Dagger | Proguard | Android SDK | Gradle | CI/CD | | Git | OOP | Agile | TDD.

Role Overview:

An award winning and well known business operating within the finance and credit industry is capitalising on outstanding business performance over the past 12 months by growing their mobile engineering teams, both on iOS Native and Android Native. Over the past 4 years the business has gone through a huge amount of change in the way they operate and function as a consumer facing product business. This evolution has been spearheaded by some great management and equally impressive teams to adapt and grow as a unit. Now they are looking for people to add to the continual success of the business and add new features/innovation to the platform, to take the company the next level once again.

From a headcount perspective, the team sits at 6 Android Developers and 5 iOS Developers, looking to nearly double that by the end of Summer 2021. You will be complementing an 80 strong overall engineering team that handles all of the core financial platform that integrates into the mobile application, so if you have experience with these kind of teams than fantastic, you will add a lot of value quickly – if you do not have experience with this then this is an opportunity to learn.

As a business you will be building a market leading personal credit and finance platform for consumers across the world. You will be adding new features to compliment the product roadmap, and be included in the design and architecture of these technological advancements.

There has already been a lot of interested in the position, not only for the reputable business name but for the opportunity to work on something that is technically challenging and greenfield in nature – all with a bunch of lovely people. With all of this considered, the level of entry is high, not necessarily by years of xp, but by quality of applicant.

So if you do want to be working with some great people, on an impressive product, with the latest technology – please do apply to embark on the interview process.
