We are looking for a Divisional Manager of Marketing, to join our Senior Management Team and lead all areas of the marketing mix for our Powered Two-Wheeler, Marine and Power Product groups within our Marketing Division. Reporting to the Country Manager, this role will play a crucial group lead within our overall management team and will need to contribute at monthly meetings whilst motivating this team towards achieving our companies Mid-Term and Long-Term plans.
With digital marketing accelerating over the past two years, the successful candidate will need to be able to create initiatives and strategies that ensure Yamaha are at the forefront in this area whilst aligning the other areas of the Division with the overall direction. We are a Pan-European company and these directions must translate a one company approach into an appropriate local UK plan.
A focus must always be maintained on the Customer Journey and how we link the journey digitally, as well as improving our Brand Experience at every customer touchpoint. This role is accountable for ensuring that we communicate our Unique Style through all available mediums, to be able to reach all target markets nationwide. Achieving and exceeding market share targets is another expectation of this role.
Racing is a foundation of our heritage that continues to run through our company’s DNA, you will need to work closely with our race team partnerships and regularly attend related events and competitions. You will need to manage their support and budgets and ensure Yamaha are investing in the correct teams.
The successful candidate will need to be able to plan effectively and manage strategic plans, media communication plans, corporate event plans as well as sales & marketing promotional plans and you will be leading a team of four to achieve this success with. You would be working with a Marketing Manager and three Marketing Coordinators, two that specialise in each of our product groups with their related parts and accessories and a third with a sole focus on digital communication and web.
This is an office based opportunity and applicants should have a full UK driving license. There will be expectation to attend marketing events that will include some weekends. There is also occasional travel to the Netherlands when it is safe to do so and COVID restrictions allow, to represent the UK at Pan-European meetings.
