The product has been designed so it can be customised and applied to other industries, so the growth potential is uncapped here. Due to the adoption of remote working tools during Covid-19 my client has seen a surge in demand and is now looking to recruit a Product Owner.
You will be working fully remotely to begin-with and then move to a hybrid working policy in the future.
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Development, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of software solutions, manage and priorities the product backlog to best meet the future needs of their customers and capture market opportunity. You will play a key part in serving their customers and work with key stakeholders across the business to contribute to how they take their products to market. You will be responsible for managing the development pods to ensure solutions are effectively address programme priorities, while maintaining technical integrity and quality of the software
You will be responsible for each stage of the development process and product versions, and define the product roadmap, whilst creating a strategic vision that outlines product direction. You will be able to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on project goals and be able to manage and prioritise accordingly. You will have good knowledge around software delivery life cycle and how to work closely with customers to understand and anticipate future requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have strong background in Product Owner and Project Management and have worked within and delivered SaaS/cloud software projects. You will have experience delivering projects within an Agile framework. You will have excellent communication and written skills. You will have experience in implementing new processes for delivering software projects to increase rigour, without undue process. You will have a deep knowledge of IT software industry and have previous experience dealing with IT software.
